    Hi,

    I built a woffice intranet on Network Solutions and then it was moved to GoDaddy. When they completed the migration it was working, but the member directory was not loading and the member search is not working. The users still appear in the user area of Wordpress, and the anniversaries are still appearing in the Work Anniversaries. I also noticed that when I am logged into Wordpress and I click on the directory link, the wordpress frame disappears, and I cannot edit from there. Is there a setting that is interfering or off after the migration between the servers? I can send further login info separately if you need to access the site.

    Hi Lexi,

    Thanks for writing in! Transferring WordPress sites from one server or domain to other is easy achievable, it requires bit work but it's not so much complicated in my opinion, here are some good guides about transferring sites: http://www.wpexplorer.com/migrating-wordpress-website/ from official codex: https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

    Also some plugins out there that can help with transfer: https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/

    Hi,

    The site is already migrated, but the members are not showing up in the directory page. I tried deactivating the BuddyPress plugin, and I was going to reactivate it to see if it would reset but it took the whole site down. GoDaddy fixed that issue, but the "Directory" page is still not getting the members fed into it. It also completely loses the Wordpress framework when I am on that page. All of the other pages are fine. I have attached screenshots to show what I mean. The "Departments" page has a feed and the top bar to work on the Wordpress backend, but the "Directory" page has no feed and loses that top Wordpress bar. Any thoughts? I can send you login info if you need to get into the site.

    Hello Lexi,

    Thanks for writing back! Do you have a activity page assigned to the "Directory" section in Settings > BuddyPress > Pages? 

    Usually this error is coming when the page is misconfigured.

    Hi Support,

    I have a similar problem but with the groups page.

    After the migration the groups stopped working in step 3 -> creating group profile images.

    I already run all buddypress settings and I have already installed and uninstalled the plugin, but the problems remain.

    Hi,

    It looks like GoDaddy fixed the issue. There was a conflict in the wp-config.php file during the migration. Our hosting PHP version was not compatible with our site, so they upgraded the PHP version. If anything else happens I will get back to you, but I think we are back on track! Thanks for your help!
